Founder
Masakuni Shibata 柴田 昌国
A former firefighter of some seven years. In February 2023, about two months after ChatGPT was released, he became convinced of what AI could do and taught himself to program. After working at an AI systems development company in Tokyo, he founded ShinAI in January 2025 under the principle of believing in true value and building a new future for the next generation. In August 2026, he incorporated the company as ShinAI Inc.
